Today we have another series "Reading Bala" , which will be discussed a little story of Ernest Hemingway's The Snows of Kilimanjaro. I hope you had time to read this little piece? If not, then you can do , following this link . I assure you that reading this story does not take you more than an hour. By the way, just a couple of minutes ago, I learned that this product Henry King took the eponymous film, which at one time was nominated for an Oscar for Best Cinematography work "and" Best Art Direction. Сперва мне бы хотелось сказать пару строк о названии рассказа. Почему именно "Снега Килиманджаро"? The answer to this question is partly the author gives us at the outset of his work. He says that Kilimanjaro - is the highest point in Africa, the mountain which one of the tribes of this continent called "House of God." In my opinion, the important role played by the fact that Kilimanjaro is also a potentially active volcano. Remembering the university lectures on literature in which the works of Ernest Hemingway was compared with the iceberg, the visible part of which is only a small percentage of the total ice blocks, I would venture to suggest that the author compares Kilimanjaro with the main character works - Harry. After all, this gifted person is really like a volcano, all my life accumulates inside feelings, emotions, vivid sketches of works which He, unfortunately, and never write:
Now he will never write about that before always reserve until such time as he does not know enough to write about it as it should. Well, at least he will not tolerate failure.
